Trip to New England

We went to New England this weekend with the McDermott family. We started in Boston and went to a Red Sox baseball game Friday night. We took turns watching Conner run around at the back of Fenway. Although the Red Sox lost, it was a really fun game.

Saturday afternoon we drove up to New Hampshire to visit Colin's grandmother and uncles. Conner had fun stealing M&Ms from her candy jar and jumping all around her house. We went to Rye Beach and the weather was PERFECT! It was hot outside but the water was COLD! Conner loved playing in the sand but didn't like the cold water. On Sunday we drove up to Maine and went to an amusement park/zoo. Conner made a new friend named Toby and rode on the train.

Funny memory of the trip - Conner had a black eye when Colin picked him up from daycare on Thursday. We cracked up all weekend whenever someone asked Conner what happened to his eye. He kept saying, "Cooper did it." (Cooper is a friend of his from daycare) He also loved to shout out when he saw a boat, airplane or car as we were driving down the road. The video below will explain it all.....

I just love the attention span of a child. You can be all ready to talk about something, but they suddenly jump to a totally different topic. Gotta love kids.
